This past week we had a great menu plan!
The highlight was a definite pleasant surprise,
the Cannellini Bean and Escarole Dish was awesome....
my girls loved it, my husband said it was a keeper,
and the leftovers were gone the next day.
I must say that I did have a menu plan FAIL...
The Pork Dumplings
There are a few reasons for this fail:
- Tried to make right after picking up children late from school with baby crying.
- Continued to try to make while we babysat 3 additional children besides our own...
- I don't have a bamboo steamer... used metal steamer and all the dumplings stuck together.
- Should have thought of a dipping sauce earlier than during serving it.
Ok, enough of my venting... here's what we will be receiving this week in our produce:
BROCCOLI CROWNS
BOK CHOY
CARROTS
RED KALE
ROMAINE LETTUCE
YELLOW ONIONS
CURLY PARSLEY
CREMINI MUSHROOMS
YELLOW GINGER
RED PLUMS

VALENCIA ORANGES

ReplyDeleteSorry you had a bad experience with the pork dumplings. Why do things that seem so easy end up being much more complicated? Oh well. Live and learn, right?
